Guwahati: Prohibitory orders were issued at the Bokakhat area of Golaghat, Assam after a tiger had strayed out of the Kaziranga National Park.
The tiger was seen roaming near human inhabited area of the Japori Pathar region of Kaziranga National Park.
While no attacks or injuries were reported, the administration has taken precautions to ensure public safety.

The District Magistrate imposed Section 144 of the CrPC in the Japori Pathar, Sukani village, Ahomgaon, and Borigaon in Bokakhat, Golaghat.
This section restricts movement in these areas to minimize human-wildlife interaction.

Residents have been advised to stay indoors unless there’s an emergency.
Forest department officials are currently searching for the tiger to safely relocate it.
