Tezpur: Satya Sundar Bhattacharya, an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science at Tezpur University, has been elected as a Fellow of the prestigious National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) for the year 2024.

Dr. Bhattacharya’s research interests primarily focus on vermiculture techniques, soil health management, and solid waste management.
He holds a Ph.D. in Vermiconversion Technology from the Institute of Agriculture at Visva Bharati University.
As a Fellow of NASI, Dr. Bhattacharya will join a distinguished group of scientists at the forefront of scientific research and development in India.
