Guwahati: Guwahati city police have busted a ‘sex racket’ allegedly operating in a massage parlour in city’s Ulubari area.
Based on specific compliant, a team of police carried out a sudden raid at Sea Salt Spa & Unisex Parlour at Ulubari in Guwahati on Saturday evening and nabbed three men.

The team ‘rescued’ three women during the raid, said a police official.
A case has been registered at Paltan Bazar police station under relevant section of the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
Police said some of the women involved hailed from other states, indicating the presence of an interstate network facilitating these activities.

The owner of the parlor, Nirmal Dutta, has been summoned by the police for further questioning. Further investigation is underway, added the official.
