Offline classes for the final semester of graduation courses, the final year of higher secondary, and the final semester of post-graduation will resume from Monday.
The Assam government has issued a fresh set of SOPs (standard operating procedures) for resuming offline classes from Monday (September 6).
According to the fresh SOPs, classes on offline mode till Class 11 will, however, remain suspended.
Moreover, the students who will attend the offline classes, need to get themselves vaccinated with at least one dose of COVID vaccine.

The students whose classes will resume from Monday will also be allowed to stay in hostels, but they need to get themselves fully vaccinated.
Moreover, for class 12, the students need to be above the age of 18 to attend classes.
On the other hand, schools and colleges have been directed to accommodate only 30 students in a single classroom at a single time.
The education department has also instructed the teachers of the lower classes to continue with the online classes.
