A notorious rhino poacher, who was involved in the poaching of animals at Kaziranga National Park and the rhino horn trade, has been arrested.
Rahimuddin was arrested on Sunday when he came to surrender before the Kaziranga DFO Ramesh Kumar Gogoi.

The Gauhati High Court recently granted him anticipatory bail in a rhino poaching case registered against him.
As per reports, after securing bail in the case, Rahimuddin came to Kaziranga DFO office, where he was arrested in a separate poaching case.
Forest officials said Rahimuddiun, a resident of Nilbagan in Assam’s Hojai district, was involved in several cases of rhino poaching and illegal rhino horn trade.
