Two persons from Upper Assam’s Golaghat district tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Monday.
With the two fresh cases, the Assam’s coronavirus tally has now increased to 104.
State health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced this via a tweet on Monday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, two persons—one from Nagaon and another from Golaghat district—tested positive for the deadly virus.
On Sunday, Assam had registered nine Covid-19 positive cases, including a 9-year-old boy.
The state recorded its third COVID-19 death after a 71-year-old died on Monday morning.
The patient- Gopindra Chandra Malakar- had returned from Mumbai and was suffering from neck cancer along with COVID-19.
Malakar was admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and he died owing to respiratory disease.
