While sharing the Covid19 update of Assam, chief minister Sarma in a tweet on Wednesday informed that the 2,728 new cases have been confirmed out of 1,66,227 tests.
The state’s overall positivity percentage stood at 1.64 on Wednesday.
Of the new cases, Kamrup Metro district has reported 187 cases.

Hundreds of people recovered from the disease on Wednesday.
The state’s Covid19 recovery rate stood at 92.63%, according to the data shared by chief minister sarma.
“Summary of 23/6/2021 – Today’s Total 2728: Overall Positivity Percentage (2728 cases out of 1,66,227 test done = 1.64%); Kamrup(M) 187; Death 30; Recovery Rate 92.63%,” chief minister Sarma tweeted.
On Tuesday, Assam reported 37 patients died of Covid19 infection and 2,869 new positive cases.
Of the 2,869 cases, Kamrup Metro reported 198 cases
The new cases were confirmed out of 1,52,720 tests on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the overall Covid19 positivity rate stood at 1.88%.
The recovery rate stood at 92.37% on Tuesday.
