Assam Covid19 update 2

Assam has registered 111 new Covid19 positive cases, taking the stateโ€™s overall tally to 3,430.

This was confirmed by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his latest tweet on the stateโ€™s Covid19 status.

With the new cases, the number of active Covid19 positive cases in Assam stands at 1,989.

Earlier, a total of 1,432 Covid19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam after their recovery.

The deadly disease has claimed the life of 6 persons in Assam while 3 cases migrated from the state.

On the day when the total Covid19 positive cases in Assam increased to 3,319, a total of 183 other patients, who were earlier infected by the virus, have been discharged from hospitals in the state.

In an earlier tweet, health minister Sarma in a tweet at 8.08 pm on Thursday said 183 Covid19 patients were  discharged on the day from various civil, district, and model hospitals in Assam after their recovery.
