Assam reported one more death due to COVID19 infection in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s death toll to 931.
The news has been confirmed by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his latest tweet on Sunday.

“Sad to share the demise of one more #COVID patient today,” health minister Sarma tweeted.
The deceased has been identified as 87-year-old Leena Sengupta of Kamrup Rural district, Sarma informed.
“My condolences to the bereaved family & friends. Om Shanti,” the health minister said.

Assam so far has registered a total of 2,06,351 COVID19 cases.
A total of 1,96,051 patients have been discharged from hospitals or Covid19 Care Centres in Assam.
With the demise of 1 more positive patient, Assam currently has 9366 active COVID19 cases.
