Assam registers 60 new COVID-19 positive cases on Wednesday.
Among the new cases, 38 are from Dhubri, 18 in Golaghat and four in Nagaon.
This was informed by state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Sarma tweeted:
‘Alert ~ 60 new cases of #COVID19+
38 Dhubri, 18 Golaghat, 4 Nagaon
Total cases 1621
Recovered 337
Active cases 1277
Deaths 04

With these new cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases rose to 1621.
However, 337 persons have completely recovered are were discharged from hospital over the last many days.
At present there are 1277 active cases in the State.
The State has witnessed four deaths till date.
