A police officer was killed on the spot in a road mishap in Jagiroad in Morigaon district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased officer has been identified as Ratneshwar Das, the officer-in-charge of Boko Police Station.
Das was on his way to Nagaon when he met with the accident.
He was all by himself when he met with the accident.
Eyewitnesses informed that Das’ car hit a divider and turned turtle and he was killed on the spot.
