Guwahati: Forest officials apprehended two alleged poachers from the Manas National Park in Assam.

The officials seized a significant haul of illegal wildlife products and weapons.

The accused, identified as Kalicharan Basumatary and Maisrang Goyari, were allegedly involved in poaching activities within the park.

During the operation, forest officials recovered a cache of incriminating evidence, including two handmade guns, a deer horn, a bullet-making machine, and arrows.

Following their arrest, the duo was presented in court and subsequently sent to judicial custody.
