All these individuals, who lost a limb, are now enabled to live near normal lives with new Intelligent artificial limbs provided by ONGC under its CSR programme at ONGC Assam Asset on Monday, a press communique received here said.

Like Puja, Biswanath, Jiten and Barnail, there are many amputees, who needed prosthetic and orthotic treatment but could not afford this due to the huge cost of the prosthetics.

For those who have resigned to the fate of immobility owing to natural causes and  accidents, ONGC Assam Asset has breathed a new lease of life of mobility and freedom,” SD Maske, ED-Asset manager, Assam Asset said.
