Guwahati: A huge haul of suspected Yaba tablets worth Rs 2 crore was seized in Karimganj, Assam on Monday.

According to reports, one person was arrested with the contraband consignment.

Police informed that the accused was identified as Dilwar Hussain Choudhury of Katigora in Cachar, Assam.

He was arrested by official of Badarpur Police Station based on specific inputs.

He was apprehended with a consignment of over 10,000 Yaba tablets, police said.

Police said that the accused was nabbed from a vehicle near the Badarpur Ghat.
