Assam: NTPC Bongaigaon organizes free health camp under CSR programme

A free medical camp was organized on Wednesday at Maino Club at Bangalpara by NTPC Bongaigaon of Assam under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

The nearby villages of Bangalapara , Amguri, Kanthalguri, Banduguri,Dologaon, Fukagaon, Dogorpara,Amlaiguri and Krushakati were covered under this camp.

A total number of 150 beneficiaries registered for the free medical camp in which they were provided with free consultation along with free medicines.

Apart from that to inculcate the habit of cleanliness among the common villagers, a health kit comprising toothbrush, tooth paste and hand wash were provided to each beneficiary of the camp.

The hospital team of NTPC Bongaigaon, comprising Dr Sobha Kant  Mandal (CMO), Dr Bedabindu Singha (GDMO), SuKkro Malar (Asst Manager-Hospital) along with Premanand Mallick (Dy Manager HR/CSR) conducted this camp.

Village gaobura/mukhia, Jamendra Basumatray and VCDC chairman Medhiram Basumatary were also present and appreciated the efforts of team Bongaigaon in reaching out to the common public.
