Guwahati: To cater to the increased passenger demand during summer, three pairs of special trains will operate from Guwahati, NF Railway said in a statement.
The Guwahati – Jammu Tawi (Jammu & Kashmir) (05656) express will run for nine trips in both directions. It departs Guwahati every Monday from May 6th to July 1st at 8:30 pm, reaching Jammu Tawi on Wednesday at 5:35 pm.
The return train (05655) departs Jammu Tawi every Thursday from May 9th to July 4th at 10:00 am, reaching Guwahati on Saturday at 1:20 pm.
The train has AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, and sleeper class coaches. Stops include Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Begusarai, Hajipur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Saharanpur, Ludhiana, and Kathua.
Guwahati – Hadapsar (Pune, Maharashtra) (05610) express will run for eight trips in both directions. It departs Guwahati every Monday from May 6th to June 24th at 8:40 pm, reaching Hadapsar on Wednesday at 6:20 pm.
The return train (05609) departs Hadapsar every Thursday from May 9th to June 27th at 10:00 am, reaching Guwahati on Saturday at 8:15 am. The train has AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, and sleeper class coaches.
Stops include Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Cooch Behar, Katihar, Barauni, Danapur, Buxar, Mirzapur, Satna, Itarsi, and Kopargaon.
Guwahati – Agartala (One-way trip) express special train (05663) will run a single trip from Guwahati on Tuesday, May 7th, departing at 11:30 pm and reaching Agartala on Wednesday, May 8th, at 4:00 pm.
The train has AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper, and general coaches. Stops include Jagiroad, Chaparmukh, Hojai, Lumding, New Haflong, Badarpur, New Karimganj, Dharmanagar, Kumarghat, and Ambassa.
