MS Dhoni Cricket Academy is going to hold it’s first ever coaching programme in the Northeast with a seven-day summer camp in Dibrugarh of eastern Assam from July 8 next.
The summer camp will be organized coinciding with the centanery celebration of Dibrugarh District Sports Association.
In Dibrugarh, MSDCA joined hand with local cricket club of Dibrugarh and Dibrugarh District Sports Association while organising the seven-day camp from July 8 to 14 next.
MS Dhoni Cricket Academy is an institute of Aarka sports which comes of a simple thought of ‘giving back’ from MS Dhoni and Mihir Diwakar and is completely set to transform the standard of coaching and development of cricket in India and abroad.
Equipped with all modern technology, high class coaching facility and certified coaches MSDCA is spreading it’s centers to every corner of India and abroad.
“Objective of this initiative is to bring structured cricket coaching to all the aspiring cricketers in India. MSDCA is formed with solo objective to provide platform to aspiring cricketers in the country through a structured programme and to help children learn cricket in fun and engaging manner and shape them into quality sportspeople. With the right basics in place, a child can learn and adapt more easily and successfully to succeed in different formats of modern cricket,” said Munish Rao, business head of MSDCA.
During the cricket Ccoaching camp in Dibrugarh, children will be undergoing specialized training under the guidance of accredited coaches from BCCI like Satrajit Lahiri, head coach and other coaches of BCCI level.
“Coaching clinic programme is a way to sample the modern cricket coaching and philosophy of MSDCA’s regular coaching programme. MSDCA cricket coaching programme which promotes the importance of developing quality cricketers as well as people who are leaders, have strong team work capabilities, strive for excellence and display sportsmanship and fair play,” Rao added.
The summer camp is excepting 100 budding cricketers from the region. Till date 20 aspirants have enrolled to the seven-day camp through online.
