BTC Executive Member Bonjar Daimary was awarded with Mr APJ Abdul Kalam Excellence Award 2018 in the national capital on Sunday.
Daimary was awarded for his outstanding individual achievements and distinguished services to the people.
Former ambassador and secretary to Ministry of external Affairs, KV Rajan, presided over the the ceremonious event in New Delhi on Sunday where former Governor of Chattisgarh and Tripura, Lt Gen (Rtd) KM Seth, handed over the award to Daimary.
Earlier, the event was inaugurated by former Governor of Sikkim, BP Singh.
The event was also attended by (Rtd )Secretary All India Congress Committee, Major Ved Prakash.
Daimary also expressed his happiness being awarded and stated that he feels inspired to work for the betterment of the people after being conferred with the award.
