Assam: Ministers and policemen involved in supari syndicate, alleges Ramen Deka

Former Lok Sabha MP Ramen Deka has alleged that several top political leaders, high ranked police officials and businessmen of Assam are involved with the ‘supari syndicate’ in the state.

“The supari syndicate must be investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA),” he further said demanding for the shifting of investigation from the state home department.

“During the UPA government, demands for investigating the supari syndicate was placed before the then home secretary RK Singh and the then Assam DGP,” Deka further said.

The supari syndicate in Assam recently has caught everybody’s attention with various private news channels airing extensive news reports about it.

“The media houses definitely have proofs, so they are talking and writing about it extensively,” he further said.
