The Manipuri version of Srimad Bhagavad Gita has been published Assam-Manipuri Sahitya Parishad while ‘Mahakavi Kalidas’ has been published by Hojai Sahitya Sabha.

The Manipuri version of ‘Srimad Bhagavad Gita’ and Mahakavi Kalidas’ were released by Pandit Khelemba Sastri, Padmakanta Nath, Laishom Gulap, Anup Kumar Borthakur, Tensubam Manihar, Pukhrabam Kamini in presence of a gathering at Gauranagar Sanskrit Veda Vidyalaya, Gauranagar in Hojai on Thursday.
The speakers appreciated the efforts of Renuka Devi Shastri.
They said the Manipuri version of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita will help the Manipuri readers to understand the philosophy of great ‘Srimad Bhagavad Gita’ and inspire the readers to follow the path of dharma and truth.

The scholars and writers have appreciated another book by Shastri, titled’Mahakavi Kalidasa’, written in the Assamese language.
They said the book is an important contribution to children’s literature.
