Leopard menace has struck the city again in Maligaon. This time the wild beast has attacked residents of Kamakhya as per reports.
Three people have been injured in the attack that took place last night. The injured have been identified as Sukendra Sharma, Gita Devi and Joymoti Devi and have been admitted to Sanjeevani Hospital, Maligaon.
Reports say that the leopard entered the residential area in search of food and is now trapped inside one Sukendra Sharma’s residence.
It should be noted that forest officials have not reached the spot yet.
