The Karbi People’s Liberation Tigers (KPLT) ceasefire group on Saturday stated that those who have fled from the KPLT (ceasefire) are still using the organisation’s name and are on a collection drive and they have been collecting money from the public.
The activities of those cadres are tarnishing the image of the organisation, the  KPLT ceasefire group stated in a press communique.
The release said complaints have been received from the public on collecting money by those who have left the KPLT (ceasefire).
The ceasefire agreement was signed with the Central and State Governments only with the KPLT (Ceasefire), said chairman Donri Kramsa and general secretary Vojaru Hanjang in the release.
Kramsa and Hanjang said that the cadres, who have fled the ceasefire group of the organisation are no more with the organization, KPLT (ceasefire) and have no right to collect money from anyone.
The organisation urged the social organisations and general public to decide on the matter.
