The rhino that had strayed out of flooded Kaziranga National Park (KNP) at Bandardubi area since July 17 near, was found dead on Friday morning.
This announcement was made in the official Twitter handle of KNP on Saturday.
“With profound grief, we would like to inform you all that the rhino which has been straying at Bandardubi area since 17th July & drawn the attention of all concerned public was found dead at about 11 am on 24/07/2020 at the edge of Deopani River inside NP by the staff of Dusuti camp,” the KNP twitted.

A video of the rhino, resting on the edge of the road, went viral on social media.
