His test results came late Friday night.

He was suffering from fever and cough and went for swab test on July 1 last.
He is presently undergoing treatment at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Notably, he was seen with state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during visits to quarantine centres and other COVID-19 related outings.
It is learnt that swab tests will be done of all those persons who had come in contact with Nath over the last few days.
Apart from the ADC, the officer in charge of Jalukbari police station and two employees of Raj Bhawan have also tested positive for COVID-19.

Notably, over 2000 people in Guwahati have already been affected by the lethal coronavirus.
Till Saturday, a total of 9799 people have been infected by the virus.
The State has witnessed 14 COVID-19 related deaths so far.
