The Dibrugarh district administration has issued a latest advisory regarding traffic route towards the inaugural programme of Bogibeel Bridge, to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, scheduled for Tuesday.
According to information, the Jamira Tinali Road connecting the Bogibeel Bridge will remain completely closed on Tuesday.
The people interested to attend the PM Modi rally at Kareng Chapori (Dhrmaji) can reach the venue through National Highway 52B only.
The newly-constructed NH 52B connects the NH 37 near Sukafa Bhawan in Lepetkata.
The public will be able to cross the bridge via this route to the meeting venue.
The entry of all types of vehicles through this road will be stopped at 11 am.
The NH 52B was completed on Monday after day-and-night work by the contractors and workers.
The district administration has decided to allow vehicles through this newly-constructed road connecting the Bogibeel Bridge.
Vehicles will be able to pass smoothly through this road from Lepetkata side (near Sukafa Bhawan) towards the main bridge.
This road is sufficiently broad than the existing road from Jamira Tiniali.
People from various districts will get the opportunity to cross the bridge via this newly-constructed NH 52B.
The preparations by Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) and the district administrations of both Dibrugarh and Dheamji district administrations are complete for the much-awaited inauguration of India’s longest rail-cum-road Bogibeel Bridge connecting Dhemaji in the north and Dibrugarh in the south over the Brahmaputra.
