Simultaneously, the upper part of an explosive device was found beneath a street vendor’s shed in front of the PWD Inspection Bungalow in Laluk under Laluk Police Station.

Despite the ULFA’s claim of planting bombs across the state, no explosives were found at the abandoned trailer in the North Lakhimpur Government HS School playground, where the Independence Day parade took place.

The trailer, belonging to NHPC’s SLHEP plant, had been parked there for several years.
