GUWAHATI: Results of the high school leaving certificate (HSLC) examination in Assam will be declared during the festive season of Bohag Bihu in the state.

This was announced by Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu.

Assam education minister, Ranoj Pegu, confirmed that the board of secondary education, Assam (SEBA) will declare the HSLC examination 2024 results during the Bohag Bihu festival.

Pegu assured that all necessary preparations have been finalised by SEBA in this regard.

The Assam education minister emphasized that the results will coincide with the Bohag Bihu festival, indicating that SEBA has completed all arrangements for the timely announcement.

It’s worth noting that the HSLC examination 2024 in Assam commenced on February 16 and concluded on March 4.

A total of 4,25,924 students participated in the HSLC examinations in Assam, comprising 1,90,934 male candidates and 2,34,980 female candidates.

Previously, the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) had anticipated that SEBA would publish the HSLC exam results before Bohag Bihu in April.
