They said, “We are in a state of dilemma, as it’s been seven months our brother Eishadul Hoque went missing from the hostel of Dibrugarh medical college. We knocked every door for help but no clue to date.”

They informed, “Eishadul was pursuing MBBS from Dibrugarh medical college and was in the ninth semester and was staying at the college hostel.”

They further said in December 2019, a friend of Eishadul informed them about his disappearance from the hostel.

“We immediately rushed from Hojai to Dibrugarh, did a lot of searches and asked everyone but authorities at the hostel couldn’t give us any satisfactory answer. Then we sought help from the principal of the medical college but we got no help, then we lodged a missing complaint M.M.R no.- H.D./019 at  Borbari outpost in Dibrugarh,” they said.

“However, from there also we got no positive response, then we lodged a missing complaint bearing no 35/20 at Dibrugarh Sadar Police Station,” they added.

They said, “To date, we have no information about our missing brother.”

“After knocking all the possible doors and losing hope, now we request Assam Government to help us in finding out our missing brother as soon as possible,” they further said.
