Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday visited the newly inaugurated COVID Care Hospital in Guwahati.
The new COVID care Hospital has been set up at the Khanapara playground and is expected to help immensely in the fight against COVID-19.
Minister of State (MoS), health, Pijush Hazarika also accompanied Sarma in his visit.
During the visit, the health minister reviewed the treatment facilities of the COVID Care Hospital.
He also interacted with the patients admitted at the COVID Care Hospital.
Sarma, while interacting with the doctors, advised them to maintain a constant vigil.
He also urged the doctors to take proper care and precautions.
Later, in a tweet, Sarma said, “Visited the newly inaugurated #COVID19 care hospital at Khanapara field, Guwahati, along with MoS @Pijush_hazarika to review treatment facilities & interact with patients admitted there. Advised doctors to maintain a constant vigil & take proper precautions & care.”
