The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is all set to hold the Higher Secondary final year (class 12) examinations in July-August.
This was stated in a letter, written by AHSEC Controller of Examinations – Pankaj Borthakur, to in-charges of examination centres across Assam.

“It is for your kind information that Assam Higher Secondary Education Council is going to conduct Higher Secondary Final Examinations, 21 in the month of July/August, 2021,” the letter stated.
The AHSEC Controller of Examinations further instructed the examination centres’ in-charges to look out for additional locations to hold the examinations, in order to maintain social distancing norms.

Assam Education Minister Ranuj Pegu, on Tuesday, held a meeting with representatives of different students’ organisations to discuss the possibility of holding the class 10 and 12 examinations in the state amid COVID-19 pandemic.
After the meeting, Education Minister Ranuj Pegu informed that the class 10 and 12 examinations will be conducted and SOPs will be prepared for it.
