In a move to document the activities carried out in Raj Bhavan under the leadership of the present Governor in office, Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi on Wednesday released a coffee table book at a function held at the conference hall of Raj Bhavan.

The coffee table book brought out by the Governor’s Secretariat was formally released by the Governor in presence of additional chief secretary Maninder Singh, commissioner and secretary to the Governor Sanjib Kumar Gohain Boruah, deputy commissioner, Kamrup(M) Biswajit Pegu, director of B Boruah Cancer Institute Dr A C Kotoky, vice chancellors of the universities and other dignitaries.

The book ‘Prof Jagdish Mukhi…an inspiration’ is the second volume released under the present Governor that highlights various initiatives taken by the Governor in areas of education, health, regional development, etc during the last one year.

It is a pictorial illustration of the various activates that the Governor undertook during 2018-2019.

Prof Mukhi after releasing the book congratulated the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan for their efforts in bringing out the coffee table book.

The function also witnessed the participation of secretary, Information and Public Relations Neera Sonowal, director of Information and Public Relations Anupam Choudhury, director of Printing and Stationery Atanu Sharma and officers and staff of Raj Bhavan.
