The Assam government has effected a major reshuffle in the forest department.
In a notification, issued on Tuesday by the Assam Governor, a number of IFS and AFS officers have been transferred.
As per the notification, Rajib Kr. Das, IFS, DFO, Doomdooma Division is transferred and posted as Forest Utilization Officer, Guwahati in place of AM Goswami, AFS, who is transferred.
Prashanta Dhandha, IFS, who is serving as DCF (Attached) in the of CCF (LAZ), Guwahati, is transferred and posted as the Planning Officer-ll in the office of PCCF & HOFF, Guwahati in place of Altamas Baig, AFS, who is transferred.
Jitendra Kumar, IFS, who is serving as DCF (Attached) in the office of CCF, CAC, Guwahati, is transferred and posted as DFO, Goalpara Division in place of Khanindra Nath Das, AFS, who is transferred.
