The Assam Government through a notification has approved several colleges in the State for introduction of integrated B Ed courses.
The notification from the director of higher education issued on Monday further asked the colleges to take necessary steps with the appropriate authority for obtaining necessary permission for introducing B Ed course in the colleges.
The colleges selected by the department of higher education include:
Goreswar College, Barama College, M C College, B H College, Nabajyoti College, Barnagar College, BBK College of Barpeta, Biswanath College, Abhayapuri College of Bongaigaon, Sonari College of Charaideo, Bijni College of Chirang, Mangaldoi College in Darrang, Dhemaji College, B N College of Bilasipara in Dhubri, Dibru College, Duliajan College, Namrup College in Dibrugarh, Diphu Government College, Goalpara College, Dudhnoi College, D R College in Golaghat, Lumding College in Hojai, D C B Girls’ College, Moriani College, Bahana College, Kakajan College, N N Saikia of Jorhat, Arya Vidyapeeth College, B Barooah College, Handique Girls College, Guahati College, Pandu College, L C B College, Pragjyotish College, North Guwahati College, S B M S College in Sualkuchi, J N Chaliha College, Dimoria College, DK College, Rangia College, Pub-Kamrup College, Gossaigaon College, Kokrajhar Government College, Lakhimpur Girls College, North Lakhimpur College, L T K College, Dhakuakhana College, Majuli College, Marigaon College, Jagiroad College, Nowgaon College, A D P College, Dhing College, Kaliabor College, Barbhag College, Tihu College, Sibsagar Girls College, Moran Collage, Gargaon College, Sibsagar College, Darrang College, T H B College, L O K D College, Chaiduar Collage – all in Sonitpur, Digboi College and Tangla College in Udalguri.
