Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ramen Deka has tested positive for Covid-19.
Sources said former MP Deka was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) on Thursday.

As per reports, his condition is stable.
The 67-year-old from MP represented Mangaldai constituency in the Lok Sabha.
Currently, he is the national secretary of the saffron party.
