Amid anti-CAA protests making headlines in Assam, a footballer from Udalguri district has brought laurels to the state by clinching the ‘Best Striker’ award in the National Integration Tour in Pune.

Conducted by the Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavana in co-ordination with Pune-based NGO Aseem Foundation, 19-year-old Naseeb Soren enthralled all with his lightning-quick speed and flawless football technique.

Playing for Udalguri Eden FC Club, Soren put up a spirited performance in the entire tournament.

Top clubs of Pune and Udalguri Eden FC Club played five matches where Soren stood apart with his exceptional performance.

Soren has also been shortlisted by national football clubs of Pune following his performance in the matches.
