At least seven new flyovers and one road over bridge (ROB) will be constructed along the east-west corridor along the Patshala-Nagaon stretch in Assam.

The construction of the new flyovers and the ROB in Assam will be undertaken by the national highways authority of India (NHAI).

Construction of the new flyovers and the ROB has become necessary for better traffic management.

According to reports, the NHAI has stated that the traffic load along the east-west corridor at the Patshala-Nagaon stretch has increased in recent times.

Increase in traffic along the Patshala-Nagaon stretch has made it necessary for construction of the flyovers and ROB.
