Guwahati: A five-year-old child was killed after accidentally falling into a septic tank in Sivasagar, Assam on Tuesday.
As per reports, the minor girl identified as Sillishikha Gogoi fell into the tank while she was playing.

Her parents thought she was playing outside but as she disappeared for hours, they got worried.

They searched around but failed to get a clue where the child went.

Further, neighbours too joined the search and eventually, they found her in the septic tank unconscious.

Following this, the girl was rushed to a hospital in Demow but it was too late.
The doctors declared her as brought dead on arrival at the hospital.
An investigation regarding the incident has been initiated.
