Video grab from Instagram

An artist from Assam Rahul Pareek on Sunday gifted cricketer Virat Kohli an amazing portrait that had been made out of electronic wastes.

Pareek, who is a die-hard fan of the cricketer, made an amazing portrait of the cricketer using old and discarded mobile phones and wires.

A video of the portrait, which had been shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on its Twitter handle, shows Kohli admiring the portrait and shaking hands with his talented fan.

In a tweet, BCCI stated:

‘Making art out of old phones. How is this for fan love! #TeamIndia @imVkohli.’

It may be mentioned that the artist bagged the limelight after creating a portrait of Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal using a computer motherboard following which his name made it to the Indian Book of Records, 2019 on September 24 last year.
