The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Tinsukia organized a familiarization exercise on July 16, at Guijan High School, Guijan Gaon, at Natun Rongagorah Milan Sangha, Natun Rongagorah Gaon, Tinsukia.
The exercise was held in collaboration with 12Bn NDRF team.

The DPO DDMA, Tinsukia, Field Officer Disaster Management, Gaonburahs, Students, Teachers, Villagers were present at the exercise.
The NDRF Team demonstrated various first aid and safety measures along with various improvised rescue techniques among the students and Village Community which can be followed during the occurrence of any disaster for eg. flood, fire, earthquake etc.
A cleanliness drive Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was also conducted prior to the exercise where all the students and community members actively participated.
