Duarah said that Jayanta had confessed that he had pre-planned the attack because of his wife was allegedly philandering with other men due to which they had separated.
He had also confessed that she would often bother him with messages sent in WhatsApp asking him to bring their son because she was missing him.
Jayanta said that all this show of affection for her son was pretence otherwise she would not have left him behind.
Jayanta had allegedly told the police that Juri had also left him high and dry after taking loans from banks through Self Help Groups and defaulted on the monthly installments.
The son told the police that he had not seen anything as he had gone a short distance away to relieve himself.
He returned to see her lying in a pool of blood.
