According to the victim’s husband, the incident occurred when his wife was home alone with their son.
After reporting their empty gas cylinder, he arranged for a replacement, unaware of the horrific events that would follow.

The victim then reportedly fought back, sustaining minor injuries to her mouth, chest, and hand.
Locals hearing the screams came to her aid, apprehending the driver and handing him over to the Bijni police.
