The AGP was represented by State Minister and AGP president Atul Bora and Keshav Mahanta.

Notably, the AGP has been demanding a total of 40 seats for it to contest in the upcoming Assam Assembly Elections.

Later, AGP leader and State Minister Keshav Mahanta said that a final decision on seat sharing would be taken after discussions with the BJP’s central leadership.

On the other hand, the BJP reportedly is demanding at least 7 seats, which the AGP had won in the 2016 Assam Assembly Elections.
