An ace photographer from Dibrugarh bagged the 1st position in the North East India Yoga Championship held at Karimganj on July 22.

Bharali who regards Guru Swami Shivananda Swaraswati as his guru trains under Yoga Guru Dhiren Sharma.

Earlier Bharali have been felicitated on World Environment Day for his Yoga performance at Dibrugarh Zilla Sahitya Sabha.

His other achievements include third position on International Yoga Day at Dibrugarh on 21 June 2017, fourth position in  State Yoga Championship, Tezpur in July 2017, fifth position in  National Yoga Championship, Sarupather, Golaghat in July 2017, Gold Medal in State Championship in April 2018 in Silchar, Silver Medal in World Yoga Championship, Chandigarh in May 2018.

Talking to The Northeast Now, Jagadish Bharali said, “I am happy with my achievement and in future I like to bring more awards from my state,”.
