Six more positive patients have died of COVID19 infections in Assam on Wednesday, taking the state’s death toll to 121.
Sharing the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet on Wednesday said the COVID19 victims are from Kamrup Metro, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Cachar, and Darrang districts.
The victims have been identified as 81-year-old Ramesh Chandra Medhi from Kamrup Metro; 58-year-old Ram Kumar Mahato and 60-year-old Tarini Charan Kalita from Dibrugarh; 56-year-old Badal Debnath from Tinsukia, 56-year-old Kanu Paul from Cachar and 35-year-old Lalbhanu Khatoon from Darrang, the health minister said.
