A total of 1,595 patients have recovered from COVID19 in Assam in the last 24 hours.
With the recovery of these patients, the total number of patients recovered from the disease in Assam has increased to 1,38,307.

This has been confirmed by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet.
“1595 patients discharged today,” health minister Sarma tweeted in the late night on Saturday.
“My best wishes to all recovered patients and their families. Please take care,” he said.

Assam currently has 30,162 active COVID19 patients.
On Saturday, Assam registered 1,736 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 1,69,110.
The new cases were detected out of 25,831 tests in the last 24 hours.
Assam’s positivity rate stood at 6.72% on Saturday.
On Saturday, 13 positive patients lost their lives due to COVID19 infection, taking the state’s death toll to 638.
