A COVID19 positive patient, who fled from a Covid Care Centre at Bilasipara of Dhubri district on Monday, was caught by the Dhubri Police on Tuesday.
The positive patient has been identified as Yusuf Ali.
He fled from Diporkuti SDCH Covid Care Centre at Bilasipara.
The management of the Covid Care Centre informed the police as soon as the patient fled on Monday night.
Dhubri Police have informed that Ali was tracked and apprehended from his residence located at Golakganj area and was brought back to the centre on Tuesday morning.
The police have also informed that the patient was reluctant and non-cooperative since the first day he was admitted to the Covid Care Centre.
Dhubri Police have registered a criminal case against Ali.
