Assam’s Covid-19 positive case count crossed 6,000-mark after 203 fresh cases reported on Thursday taking the total cases to 6,056.
The recovery count also went up with 197 patient discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number to 3,762.

The state has now 2,079 active cases. A total of 11 people have scrummed to the disease.

Amid the rising Covid-19 positive cases in the state, the Assam government on Tuesday announced a total lockdown in 11 wards in Guwahati.
Health department has started a drive to test 50,000 samples in Guwahati by June 30.
Suspected community infection in Guwahati has left the state government worried.
