Assam CM Sonowal visits SOS village in Guwahati, interacts with children

The Assam CM extended New Year greetings to the children and urged them to work hard with commitment to be successful in life

Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal visited the SOS Children’s Village in Guwahati, located in the vicinity of LGBI Airport in the city on Thursday and interacted with the children of the village.

The Assam Chief Minister extended New Year greetings to the children and urged them to work hard with commitment to be successful in life.

Chief Minister Sonowal during interaction advised the authorities of the village to imbibe humanitarian values among the children to prepare them as good citizens.

He also appreciated their efforts to induce social and moral values among them.

While quoting former President APJ Abdul Kalam who emphasised on hard work to be successful in life, the Chief Minister advised the children to put persistent efforts to overcome challenges and achieve success in life.

He moreover said that the children at the village must strive hard with honesty, dedication and commitment to develop themselves as good citizen of the country.

The Chief Minister also assured to positively look into the proposals put forth by Subodh Das, Director of the SOS village during the interaction.

Legal Advisor to the Chief Minister Santanu Bharali also accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit.
