Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal felicitated 2018 National Film Award winners Rima Das, Utpal Borpujari along with Mallika Das and child artist Bhanita Das in Guwahati.
Filmmaker Utpal Borpujari received a cheque of Rs 1,50,000 from the Chief Minister.
They recipients were felicitated at a function at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati on Tuesday.
Sonowal presented mementos and cheques to the Swarna Kamal Awardees of Assam at the function.
Speaking at the function Sonowal said ,”The success of Village Rockstars & Ishu will encourage young filmmakers to tell our stories to a larger audience”.
