Sister Salomi Lakra, the school principal of Apostolic Carmel, Digboi said that she had no idea about the faulty issues.

She stated that the classroom ceiling had undergone recent repairs. However, guardians were not convinced and believed the incident reflects negligence on the part of the school.

One guardian pointed out that the prompt action of the teacher in changing the seating arrangement likely prevented a more serious accident.
